Yes. The pool is only for people staying with us, and it sits on a deck that looks out over the river. If you book the whole villa, the pool is yours alone.

Yes. Alongside the rooms, BelleVue runs its own Ayurveda wellness program: a doctor's consultation, therapies such as full-body oil massage, Shirodhara, Pizhichil and herbal steam in our treatment room, yoga space, a mini gym and food cooked to suit the programme. You can book a single massage during a normal stay or a full package of 5 to 21 days.

Yes, BelleVue has facilities for differently-abled guests, and families have stayed here with elderly parents and young children. Every house is different, so please tell us what you need when you enquire (wheelchair access, a room close to the entrance, help with steps or a shower chair) and we'll confirm what we can arrange before you book.

Yes. Rooms have a safe locker for passports, cash, jewellery and laptops, so you can leave valuables behind when you go out on the river or to the beach.

Yes. Evenings at BelleVue can end with a campfire in the garden and a barbecue on the riverside deck. Tell us when you book, or ask the team during your stay, and they'll set it up.

Yes. BelleVue is one of the few pet-friendly stays in Kozhikode (Calicut), and pets stay at no extra charge. Please mention your pet when you enquire so we can give you the right room, and the team will go through anything you need to know when you arrive.

Home-cooked Kerala and Malabar food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, made in our own kitchen. Breakfast can be Kerala-style or simple continental. Lunch and dinner are made to order, and we can cook to a diet if you're on an Ayurveda programme or have allergies. Full board is available on request.

Yes, free WiFi covers the house and garden and is fine for video calls. There's a desk in the rooms and plenty of quiet corners. It's a good place for a working week, as long as you can resist the pool.
